Programme:
Environmental Adaptation Action and Dialogue Network
Objective:
In partnership with Surcos, Fundación Alimentaris is leading a participatory action research project to better understand how the climate crisis and extreme weather events—particularly wildfires—affect mental health.
Through a participatory assessment and a series of community workshops, the initiative seeks to strengthen local capacities for collective action and care while identifying community-based strategies to respond to the impacts of climate change.
The project places young people at the center of the process, recognizing them as key actors in designing and leading local responses that build resilience and promote climate adaptation.
