Finance fot triple impact
Objective:
To provide sustainable financing to entrepreneurs, producer groups, and cooperatives from underserved communities across Argentina, strengthening their capacity to grow and generate lasting social and economic impact.
Over the past six years, Fundación Alimentaris has contributed to more than 60 loans, reaching beneficiaries in 10 provinces. The Foundation has also played a key role in strengthening the fund’s management, professionalizing its operations, and supporting its long-term growth and scalability.
During 2026, the initiative is undergoing an independent external evaluation based on the OECD-DAC evaluation criteria. The assessment focuses on three key dimensions:
- Impact on beneficiaries, examining the economic, social, environmental, and sustainability outcomes of the financing.
- Effectiveness of the intervention model, including its contribution to financial inclusion and its potential for replication.
- Fundación Alimentaris’ institutional added value, as well as the project’s long-term sustainability and future autonomy.
